"If I could save time in a bottle" is a line from the Jim Croce song of the same name. It's a great science fictional idea, but if all the time was in a bottle then what would happen to the rest of the world? It would be timeless. If there was no 'now' or 'then' what would happen to cause and effect? A question like that would be meaningless and history would be... history.
But, of course, you don't have to take the line so literally.
Now for a new line.
"The only gold I've ever known
it all belonged to the giant Longbone."
Have fun with it.
